indigo lara skirt | naturally garment dyed

This is a full skirt with a drop waist that is fitted at the waist and then lightly pleated, with a zip fastening and pockets that sit below the waistband. This skirt has been naturally garment dyed. This means that no chemicals were used in the process. Natural dying is not a perfect process, the dye process will highlight the natural imperfections and hand woven lines in the fabric, these are not faults but part of the hand made process. The colour on the skirt will gradually fade and change through washing, this is part of the process and something that we love as our garments age.

The fabric feels incredibly soft and is a joy to wear.

Due to the garment dying process the sizing is slightly smaller because of a natural shrinkage in the fabric and therefore different to our regular Lara skirts. We suggest sizing up in naturally garment dyed pieces
